Life for our founder, Carnell Moore, began in this three-room home in Mayesville, SC, that was usually surrounded by cotton, peanut, or soybean fields. The home had no in-door plumbing and he shared his bed with three of his 14 siblings. He was raised mostly by a single mom who was pulled out of school after the third grade to work the fields, but she made sure all of her children completed school with many serving in the Armed Forces. Carnell not only served in the US Air Force, but also completed a bachelor and two associate degrees during his enlistment. Upon his Honorable Discharge, he earned a master’s degree in communications with an emphasis in investor relations from the University of Florida. Then, the kid who grew up on welfare became a trust officer at one of the Top 10 banks in the country (First Union), went on to become a Top 10 in the country wealth advisor for mortgage business (Merrill Lynch), and then launched the life management company Vital Guidance to help people with more than just their finances. All these accolades may sound great, but Carnell contributes his success to many people and the vital guidance that started in this little house.

With over 30 years of leadership, consulting, and systems integration experience, having served in various senior executive level positions, Dr. Linda Singh offers a blend of public and private sector experience that spans health, defense, state, and local government.

As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kaleidoscope Affect LLC, she provides leadership and strategic advisory services for a variety of clients.  Dr. Singh is transitioning from the Interim Executive Director and CEO of TEDCO which focused on investing and helping grow early stage technology and life sciences companies to fuel economic development and growth. Prior to that she served as a Major General in the Maryland National Guard, dedicating more than 38 years of service.  As the Adjutant General and a Cabinet Secretary she was responsible for the Maryland Military Department.  As part of her military role she worked with senior level officials at ministerial and ambassador levels in Estonia and Bosnia developing country strategies under the Department of Defense State Partnership Program.  Dr. Singh retired from Accenture in 2016, she was a Managing Director in the Health and Public Service North America Operating Unit where she served for 21 years.

Dr. Singh personally mentors, coaches and speaks on leadership, diversity, adversity, career transition and issues that plague women and veterans in the workplace.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in business, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Strategic Studies and a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is the author of “Moments of Choice: My path to leadership” and “What’s in Your Box” which is schedule for early 2020 release.

Dr. Singh is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Gallup Strengths Coach and John Maxwell certified trainer and speaker. She has received numerous awards, among them are the 2013 DiversityMBA Top 100 under 50 Diverse Emerging Leaders, The Network Journal 25 Influential Black Women in Business Award for 2014 and recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for 2015. She was also inducted into the Maryland Women’s Hall of Fame in March 2015.  She was also featured on the Today Show for her history making leadership team and named as one of InStyle’s Badass 50 in July 2019.

General Wright has more than 30 years of documented success as a senior military officer in a wide range of results-oriented programs to include command and control, acquisitions, and budgeting. His executive success providing Air Force and Air National Guard resources to war efforts and domestic operations and emergencies helps lead Vital Guidance various business lines. Before joining our VG’s advisory board, Gen. Wright had a distinguished track record of leading multi-disciplined teams from government, industry, and educational fields. His sustained superior leadership and expertise in government relations, strategic planning, program management, international relations and domestic operations are key components to guiding Vital Guidance to an international brand for helping people in the areas of their Relationships, Health, and Finance. His highly decorated military career also includes a master’s degree International Relations from Troy State University and a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Carolina.

Colonel Greene serves as CEO of the Denver Technological Center/Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce in Colorado, noted as one of the top 30 economic zones in the United States. Greene’s selection follows a 32-year Air Force career, spanning from May 1979 through June 2011, retiring in the rank of Colonel, followed by a career in the Federal Civil Service, totaling over 40 years continuous service to his country. He describes his proudest moment leading Air Force efforts in providing search and rescue support to Hurricane Katrina victims, having personally issued the official order sending helicopters to rescue victims from their rooftops. He also assisted in planning and providing humanitarian response to other global disasters, including Haitian earthquake relief, Japanese tsunami and Columbia hostage rescue efforts. He serves on several boards of directors and provided inspiration and guidance in forming Project Transition USA, a 501c3 operating out of MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL, helping veterans successfully transition into the civilian workplace. After graduating from Tompkins High School in Savannah, GA, he earned an associate’s degree in Administrative Management from the Community College of the Air Force, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, earning honors as a Distinguished ROTC graduate. Colonel Greene received his master’s degree with honors in Human Resources Management from Troy State University in Montgomery, AL, and a second Master’s in Strategic Studies from Air University, while a student at Air War College at Maxwell AFB, in Alabama. He finds pleasure in the game of basketball and takes great pride in winning a gold medal as a player/coach for the Air War College during the Jim Thorpe inner-service games and is a recent track and field multi-medal winner in the senior division at the Rocky Mountain State games in Colorado. He and his wife Jacqueline reside in Denver, and are the proud parents of two sons, Durell and Darryl.

Col. Jackson, with more than 22 years of Active Army commitment and service to our nation, has a diverse background with proven superior leadership, organizational design, inter-agency & Defense Support to Civilian Authorities (DSCA) experiences. As a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, & Nuclear (CBRN) Officer, he has served at every echelon staff position from Battalion up to CORPS. He has also served in every key developmental leadership & command position from Platoon Level as a Lieutenant, Company Commander as a Captain, and Battalion Commander as a Lieutenant Colonel. Coupled with this diverse background, Col. Jackson also has experience in Human Resource Management, Interagency Fellowship Program with Department of Health and Human Services, Planning Officer for DSCA contingencies as well as a Planner in Strategy and Policy. He has been deployed in support of Operations Desert Sprint in Kuwait, Operation Iraqi Freedom I in Iraq, and Operation Enduring Freedom/Resolute Support in Afghanistan. In addition, he has served in overseas assignments in Germany and Hawaii. Not limited to only operational experiences, he was also instrumental in building CBRN partnership capacity for the Philippine Army, Essential Functions Trainer in Bydgoszcz, Poland along with other Joint & NATO assignments. Col. Jackson also brings experiences in recruiting, strategic planning, building Partnerships outside the US, and lastly coaching and mentoring thousands of Soldiers and their family members. His unique skill sets are an integral component of our core principles which remain committed to helping people with their Relationships, Health, and Finance. His highly decorated military career includes a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management and Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Corporate Finance from Saint Mary's University where he maintained a basketball scholarship before receiving his ROTC Commission from ST. Mary in 1998. Col. Jackson enjoys family time, reading, martial arts, sports, motorcycling and a host of other industrial & technological endeavors and activities.

David has utilized his professional and Six Sigma skills to lead change in various roles since 1992. He has served in various military roles enabling him to shape the Marine Corps while rising to the rank of Colonel. He has additionally been employed in varying capacities, successfully supporting senior executives of multiple Fortune 500 companies. In his professional work, he has developed and/or improved corporate operations through the utilization of his skills in change management, Six Sigma, and general leadership. Holding a Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification from two companies and achieving CMMI Certification (for software development) for a corporate IT department serve central in his efforts and success to improve business operations. In concert with his military service education, he possesses a Bachelor of Business Studies in Economics and an MBA in International Business.

Post David’s 2013 deployment to Afghanistan, he has refocused his corporate skills experience and professional education to the development of smaller and midsize businesses and emphasizing personal financial growth. He has worked in various roles serving mainly in an operations consulting capacity. However, his work has spanned internal corporate operations, acquisition financing, and the relocation of manufacturing operations. Additionally, David’s thought leadership on personal financial growth continues to gain traction, support, and interest among his peers. His aggressive style and committed intent to having and enabling others to participate in the successful financial growth of this country are key to his platform, guidance, and commitment to others.

Monte brings Fortune 50 executive-level experience to Vital Guidance’s advisory team having spent many years in the fast growing Wireless Telecommunications industry mostly in Vice President and General Manager positions with Verizon Wireless. After his time in wireless telecom, Monte helped lead SRS as Executive Vice President/Partner and Board of Directors member to an Inc. 500 and Black Enterprise 100s multi-million dollar company delivering high quality projects and services to the Federal Government and Commercial marketplace in multiple states. With core capabilities of Facilities Operations & Maintenance, Disaster Recovery Services and Construction Management Services, SRS was recognized as an Inc. 500 company, Southeast 8 State Region Dept. of Transportation (DOT) DBE of the Year, Top 100 Department of Homeland Security Contractor in the U.S., and District SBA 8(a) Company of the Year. Monte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and enjoys serving the community thru present and past Board of Directorships with Junior Achievement of GA, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, United Way, Salvation Army, University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Board of Visitors, YMCA and multiple Chambers of Commerce. Monte is a Leadership Atlanta graduate and is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, 100 Black Men of Atlanta (past Membership Chairman), and the Cornell Admissions Ambassadors Network. He enjoys reading, golfing, helping small businesses, college sports and physical fitness.

After almost 20 years as a wealth management advisor for Merrill Lynch, Carnell now serves as President of Vital Guidance. The Certified Financial Planner served six years in the Air Force before completing a master's degree with an emphasis in investor relations at the University of Florida. He also holds many professional licenses including principal, management and supervisory in securities, life and variable insurance, health insurance, property & casualty insurance, mortgage loan origination, and real estate. His experience as a trust officer for one of the top 10 banks in the country provided extensive knowledge in estate planning and investment strategies to help build, maintain, and/or grow portfolios to support clients' financial lifestyles and goals. Carnell is also founder of The Premier Players Sports Foundation which raises awareness and funds to support orphaned, foster, special needs and at-risk children's participation in sports and sporting events. He is married to Dr. Nancy Moore, DVM, and the couple of more than 30 years has five children.

Rich has been in lay ministry for most of his adult life serving as a youth leader for an inner city church in Philadelphia, traveling overseas for missions in multiple countries, serving as a Deacon at Idlewild Baptist Church, leading a family outreach within his community, serving on the board of the Pasco County Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and teaching an adult Bible class at Idlewild.  From a professional standpoint, he has been in sales management in the technology and telecom industries for more than 20 years, and has achieved multi-million-dollar revenue growth for companies such as Verizon, Syniverse Technologies, and Vivint Smart Home.

However, Rich's heart is helping people live a more Biblical profound life.  He's personally dealt with a troubled past of bad decisions.  Therefore, as our Life Management Advisor, he understands struggles as well as how to help those going through life challenges.

Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. He and his wife of 16 years, Carrie Foster, reside in the Tampa Bay area with their 5 children, three of which were adopted from foster care in 2020. He enjoys competitive running, physical fitness, various sports, and going to the beach with his family.

Since 1996, Brandon has pursued a unique mission with his clients of providing personalized, thorough, and ongoing wealth management. He believes everyone who is accumulating assets for retirement or is retired, has financial concerns and deserve answers that give them choices. As an Independent Advisor, Brandon and the team have many resources to make that happen. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® but works with a team to ensure the best options are provided to his clients. He also adheres to a code of ethics and professional responsibility stipulated by the CFP Board of Standards and maintains a rigorous program of continuing education. Brandon has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1978 and is a 1988 graduate of the University of South Florida. He lives in Land O Lakes with his wife Janna and two sons who enjoy soccer and golf.

Robert comes from a military family and has lived in many locations throughout the United States and abroad. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico before entering the financial services industry. He retired from Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2016 after more than 20 years in the industry, and now works as a financial advisor for Vital Guidance Financial Management. He is a contributing member of Idlewild Baptist Church devoting his time to the Special Needs and Stewardship Ministries. Robert lives in Crystal River, FL, with his wife Miyuki, who is from Guatemala.

Real Estate Advisor Rachel Lewis was a 4-time conference all-star college basketball player and played for a number of Canadian provincial and junior national teams. She also traveled around the world performing as a singer/songwriter, and lived abroad in Japan for four years where her husband played professional basketball. A graduate of the University of Toronto, she has earned the respect of teammates and colleagues alike due to her hard work, passion, and determination. She transitioned into real estate because of her love for architecture and beautiful homes. Rachel has made a high commitment to real estate education, and has been mentored by some of the top leaders in the industry. She provides unparalleled professional and ethical standards for each and every client. At home, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, yoga, and the sounds of great music.

Maurice (Moe) Gissendanner is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel.  He served more than 22 years as an Army Engineer Officer and Corps of Engineers Strategic Planner who deployed to over 20 countries. In these positions he planned, lead, and managed thousands of engineer personnel and billions of dollars in engineering products and services.  He earned a BS degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, an MBA in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, and a master's degree in organizational management and leadership from Webster University.  Now as a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, Moe provides solutions that enhances our client’s sovereignty, wealth, and legacy by using our wholesale lending partners, REALTORS, and tax professionals to help clients purchase or refinance their homes with little to no out-of-pocket costs. He also holds licenses in Life & Variable Insurance as well as Property & Casualty Insurance. Moe is married to Michelle Gissendanner and have two children.

Greg Nilles has been an insurance professional since 2003 and is a licensed Customer Service Representative. He specializes in personal insurance, including but not limited to, home, condominium, flood, auto, water craft, RV, motorcycle and personal umbrella. In addition to his career in the insurance industry, Greg has a decade of restaurant management experience in the Chicago area, holding every position from cook to manager. Originally from Chicago, IL, Greg has lived in Florida since 2017. He also studied broadcast journalism at Columbia College in Chicago.

Ky Dickerson has been working in the insurance industry for over 22 years. She spent many years as a claims adjuster and then as a manager for one of the top insurance companies in the industry. Since 2008, she has owned and operated the Ky Dickerson Insurance Agency in Georgia. The agency specializes in offering auto, home, business and life insurance. Ky utilizes her experience and knowledge of the insurance industry to make sure customer’s needs are met while providing quality, personalized service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida. Away from the office, Ky enjoys reading, traveling, exercising and spending time with her husband and two children.

Representing all the major insurance companies, Chaz provides businesses, individuals, and the self employed with quality insurance plans while soliciting quotes for the most competitively priced. As an independent agent, he works for you and not the insurance company by keeping you informed with the changes in laws or requirements that effect their plans. For businesses, Chaz is an extension of your human resource department by helping to resolve billing problems, medical claims, cobra administration, adding or deleting employees, assisting in enrollment meetings and any other situations associated with your insurance.  Chaz, a dedicated Christian, is a martial artist for over 40 years and a teacher of biblical nutrition, holds a 4th degree Black Belt in Grace Martial Arts, a 1st degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, and a black belt in Japanese karate. Chaz is married to his best friend and the love of his life, Bridget.  They have two wonderful boys who are home-schooled and love to play sports and are enthusiastically training at Armor of God Christian Martial Arts.

Chris started his career with Merrill Lynch in their downtown Miami office in 1995, working with the firm’s International Private Banking Group. He held various key positions within the department and eventually became one of the managers of the group. The group provided and assisted Merrill’s Financial Advisors and their clients with banking products and services, which included securities-based lending, letters of credit and foreign exchange. In 2003, Chris transitioned to Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group in Jacksonville as a financial advisor. He then moved to Merrill Lynch’s downtown office in Tampa, FL, where he continued to advise clients on their investment and financial planning needs. Chris holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Economics/Finance from Barry University in Miami, FL. He is also part owner of a family restaurant in Brandon, FL. At Vital Guidance, he focuses on individual and business retirement plans. He also works with other professionals, such as attorneys and CPAs, to advise their clients on strategies and products to achieve their financial goals.

Kenny Kelly was a letterman in football, basketball, baseball, and track. After winning three Florida state titles in three different sports, he finished his high school career as Florida’s record holder in passing yards and passing touchdowns. In 1997, he signed a letter of intent to play football for the University of Miami, and in 1999 was named the starting quarterback alongside teammates such as superstars Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Santana Moss, and Ed Reed.

Kelly was drafted in the 2nd-round of the 1997 Major League Baseball amateur draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.  He played 11 professional baseball seasons, with big league stops in Tampa Bay, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, and Washington Nationals. After playing for managers such as Lou Piniella, Frank Roberson, and Larry Rothschild, and some former teammates including superstars Josh Hamilton, Ken Griffey Jr., and Ichiro Suzuki, Kelly retired from baseball in 2008.

After retirement, Kelly has coached at various levels with stints as an assistant baseball coach at Alabama State University and Houston Astros organization, as well as three years of experience coaching college football at Florida International University.  He also gained years of experience in the financial industry at Merrill Lynch and Chase.

After graduating cum laude with a degree in Finance and a long sports career, Kenny is now involved with various nonprofits helping kids understand the game of life.

Jacquelyn Satmary is a Florida licensed attorney and is a partner for the Property Insurance Advocates of Florida, P.A., where she focuses on estate planning and probate, as well as first-party property claims and general civil litigation. Jacquelyn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, and then went on to receive her juris doctorate from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Prior to forming her own law practice, Jacquelyn obtained experience in the areas of estate planning, probate law, and guardianship.  Through her experience, she understands the importance and value of legal planning after witnessing countless clients losing family members without having plans in place and experiencing the burden of the legal system.

Upon establishing her firm, Jacquelyn’s passion remained with estate planning and her vision of a new approach to this highly important but seemingly overlooked area of law. She offers estate planning services built on the idea of bringing the personal family relationship to law, and legally guiding her community’s growing families, businesses, and individuals to protect what matters most with compassion and diligence.
